Mardigras Truck Stop And Travel Plaza is a truck in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is listed at 2411 Elysian Fields Ave, New Orleans, LA 70117, which places it among the local businesses of New Orleans that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In New Orleans, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Louisiana, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (504) 945-1000. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, campspot.com.

Its Google rating stands at 3.4 out of 5 from 212 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.

New Orleans is in Louisiana, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New Orleans follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Not the best, not the worst. It could be cleaner, but I've seen worse. Convenient parking if you want to take a short hike to the French quarter. Not ideal, but truck parking isn't always convenient to the places you want to go. The staff was very helpful.

The Mardi Gras Truck Stop is a study in contradictions, oscillating between a high-energy cultural crossroads and a utilitarian transit hub. While the neon-lit atmosphere successfully captures the lingering spirit of the French Quarter, the actual amenities struggle to keep pace with the aesthetic ambition. The Atmosphere: The facility leans heavily into its namesake, offering a vibrant, kitschy environment that is far more engaging than your standard highway rest stop. It serves as a colorful gateway for those entering New Orleans. The Amenities: The 24-hour kitchen provides reliable, soulful staples, though the execution can be inconsistent during peak hours. The gaming area adds a layer of entertainment, yet it often contributes to a cramped, overstimulated environment. The Logistics: Fueling and parking are handled with professional efficiency, but the interior cleanliness fluctuates significantly. It is a functional pitstop that prioritizes character over comfort. Ultimately, it is a serviceable roadside oasis for those who prefer their coffee with a side of local flair, though it lacks the refinement required to be a destination in its own right

UPDATE... 7 months later I STILL LOVE THIS PLACE!! I added 2 new pics πŸ˜€ Hasnain aka "H" and Sam are really great. So is the other guy on day shift (sorry I don't know your name). Micheal and Heath (security) are really great too. Yes, there are armed security guards 24/7. I'm really glad I came here, despite some bad reviews. I think some of them might be a little outdated. The parking lot is really nice and spacious. Well lit at night. The spaces are clearly marked. Surprisingly clean. Very quiet. $20 to park for 24 hours. The store is very nice. Some of it is typical gas station stuff, but it's very full with a wide variety of items. Too much to list, but they do have a small section of truck stuff. You have to get toilet paper from the counter to use the bathroom and then return it because people steal it, unfortunately. But the bathroom is decent. Upstairs... The (3) shower rooms ($10) are a decent size, but the actual shower is a little small. If you don't have your own towel, you can buy one ($5). There is a nice big room with tables and chairs. Nice drivers lounge. They have 1 washer/ dryer. It may not be as nice as the "Big 3" (TA, Loves, Pilot) but it's still very nice.
